"Billing mix-up was annoying"
The service itself was okay. Fine. But the billing part got frustrating. Ugh. There was a schedule mix-up, and I ended up getting charged when I shouldn’t have been. I had to reach out to support to get a refund, and they did eventually fix it. Still, it took longer than I thought it should. Meh. Not terrible, but not exactly great either.

Setting it up was simple, and the price was good compared to a couple local quotes I checked. LawnStarter ended up being cheaper for my yard, which was nice. So far there haven’t been any random extra charges popping up, and I’m totally calm about how rare that feels these days.

"Booking was simple, but the lawn work was inconsistent"
Setting up the appointment was easy, which I appreciated because I was trying to get it done between errands and making dinner. The actual mowing was kind of hit or miss, though. One crew came out and did a decent job, but the next time they missed a bunch of the edges and left clumps of grass around. Not the end of the world, but it was noticeable, especially after it dried out. Support did get back to me, but it took a while, and in the end it didn’t really feel like anything was fixed. I wanted to like it more because the booking part was so convenient, but the results just weren’t very consistent.

"Pretty professional guy"
He got there on time, which I liked, and he was polite the whole time. My yard got done right too, so yeah, it was a good experience for me

"Scheduling was frustrating"
I had a hard time trying to change my mowing day. The scheduling didn’t feel very flexible, and the communication around what was possible wasn’t clear, which made the whole thing more annoying than it needed to be.

I booked it really fast, and the app was simple to figure out. stuff like this is usually a hassle, but this one made the whole process feel easy

"They really do show up on time"
I’ve been using LawnStarter for a little while now, they’ve been super reliable. They show up when they say they will, get the yard done on time, and I don’t have to keep chasing anyone down. It’s been really nice so far, and I’m happy with the service.

"I had a mix-up with my mowing schedule..."
I had a mix-up with my mowing schedule and sent them a message, not really expecting to hear back that same day. But LawnStarter support replied quickly, and not in that copy-paste way either. Like, they actually read what I wrote, which I appreciated.
They got the date fixed and kept me in the loop without me having to keep checking in or chase anyone down. It was a small thing, I guess, but it made everything feel way less stressful. So yeah, 5 stars from me.

"Updates felt a little off sometimes"
I did get updates, but the replies were slow at times, which made me wonder what was going on behind the scenes. Not saying anything shady happened, but it didn’t always feel super reassuring
